Religion does NOT teach that sex is a sin. Religion (judeo-Christian, at least) thinks very highly of sex. In fact, sex in considered one of the most holy acts in the human experience, a completion of oneself with another being. The sin is in abusing sex - prostitution, infidelity, etc. What most people’s problem is is that the Judeo-Christian religion also considers pre-marital sex an abuse of the act. But let’s not go around spreading bullshit about how “religion” hates sex. On the contrary, religion wants you to have lots of spiritually fulfilling sex - just in the right circumstances.
